Kensington International Kindergarten, Bangkok adapts the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), which focuses on seven key areas of learning, for pupils in Toddler, Nursery, and Reception levels. The framework supports learning and development based on various themes and principles that recognise each child as individuals. Play-based learning underscores the EYFS curriculum at Kensington, enhanced with influences from other curricula including the best practices of Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Te Whariki approaches to learning.

Year 1 follows the English National Curriculum as the school prepares the students for the transition to Primary school. The programme progresses to a wide range of subjects that build upon the foundations set by EYFS. The British curriculum is known worldwide for promoting the highest standards in literacy, numeracy, and ICT capability. It’s designed to enable students to grow into successful and confident individuals who enjoy learning and develop a sense of responsibility in making a positive contribution to society. Kensington’s innovative and research-based curriculum recognises that children learn in different ways and paces, and that all areas of learning are inter-connected and of equal importance.
