Harrow International School Bangkok is associated with Harrow School, an exclusive boarding school for boys in London, UK, with a 450-year-old tradition of academic and extra-curricular excellence, as well as community service. The school opened in the Thai capital in 1998, offering IGCSEs and A Levels following the English National Curriculum.

About 1,600 students from more than 30 nationalities are currently enrolled at Harrow International School Bangkok. Majority of the student population is made up of Thai nationals but the school also offers full boarding provision for students from Year 5 and above.

The school is open to girls and boys aged 18 months to 18 years. In 2003, the school introduced the “house system,” which encourages merit-based competition as students participate in activities inside and outside the classroom.

Harrow International School Bangkok upholds the Harrow tradition of pursuing academic strength and training future leaders. Located in north Bangkok, the 35-acre lakeside campus accepts co-ed students from as young as 18 months old to 18 years. Harrow International School aims to instil resilience, community service, cooperation, and leadership in its students, from the youngest learners to its pre-university graduates. Adhering to the English National Curriculum, the educations programmes are structured into two halves: Lower and Upper schools. Majority of teachers are from the UK with English as the primary language of instruction.

Harrow International School curriculum is based on the English National Curriculum, giving emphasis to English language literacy, maths, and digital literacy, as well as the sciences, sports, and the creative arts. Lower School for the youngest learners includes the Early Years Foundation Stage and pre-prep school (Years 1-2). Upper school includes the preparatory school (Years 6-8), senior levels (Years 9-11) and sixth form (Years 12-13).

Upon entering Year 9, students are exposed to bigger academic challenges, offered focused pastoral support, and encouraged to participate in extracurriculars in preparation for their IGCSEs. Students take their IGCSEs in Year 11 and A/AS Levels in Year 13. IGCSE subjects include English, math, and science with options in languages like Thai, Mandarin, and Korean; along with history, religious studies, drama, economics, music, ICT, and PE. Selected students may also opt for additional IGCSEs in development studies, astronomy, or classical civilizations.
