The school was founded as Windsor International School in 2002, accepting Early Years and Primary School students. It was renamed Bromsgrove International School  Thailand (BIST) in 2004, when it became affiliated with Bromsgrove School UK, one of England’s top co-educational day and boarding schools, which was founded over 500 years ago.

Bromsgrove International School applies a holistic approach to the education of young learners, equipping them with basic experiences and promoting holistic development in key areas of learning. It offers the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum to children aged 2-5 years old, and the English National Curriculum (ENC) for children 5-6 years old.

Primary School carries on with the English National Curriculum, using a thematic approach to learning. Primary school students are introduced to a broader understanding of the core academics as they continue to develop their English communication skills. Primary School students are encouraged to discover and pursue new interests and develop independent thinking.  Competitive and celebratory assemblies, community service, leadership opportunities, and extra-curricular activities are an integral part of Primary School education at BIST.

Secondary School  embodies a vibrant learning environment where students are exposed to the best elements of the English National Curriculum, tailored according to the local culture and each student’s individual needs. Students are expected to gain a deeper understanding in each subject area as they start to prepare for their IGSCEs/ GCSEs. They’re guided by a robust pastoral care system in making appropriate subject choices as they also begin to study for their A Levels or BTec Diploma courses.
